LEWISTON, Idaho -- The No. 2 Bellevue University baseball team will face No. 6 Auburn-Montgomery in both team's first game of the 2016 Avista-NAIA World Series on Friday, May 27. The entire World Series schedule was released this afternoon via the NAIA's official website.

Bellevue (51-10) is seeded third in the 10-team World Series field and Auburn-Montgomery (45-15) is seeded sixth. Game time is set for 3 p.m. local time (5 p.m. CT).

The winner of that game will face the winner of Tennessee Wesleyan-Sterling/Point on Monday, May 30 at 3 p.m. The loser plays an elimination game against the loser of Sterling-Point on Saturday, May 28 at 9 a.m.

Bellevue climbed out of the loser's bracket in the Opening Round and defeated Davenport twice to claim the Grand Rapids Bracket title to qualify for the World Series. Auburn-Montgomery swept through the Montgomery Bracket, topping Keiser in extra innings to reach Lewiston.
