The Bruin baseball program under head coach Duane Monlux announced today the signing of 6-2, 210-pound right-handed pitcher Teao Buehler (Kailua-Kona, Hawaii/Kealakehe HS/Arizona Western College) to a letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic careers at Bellevue University.

Buehler pitched two seasons at Arizona Western College, compiling a 4.74 ERA with 38 strikeouts and a 3-2 record on the mound. He will have two seasons of eligibility for the Bruins.

"Teao is a welcomed addition to the Bellevue University baseball program," said Monlux. "He pitched a lot of quality innings for Arizona Western in the very competitive Arizona Junior College baseball league. He pitches in the in the mid to upper 80's. We expect to see him in multiple roles for us this year."

Bellevue went 46-15 (18-6 MCAC) this past season while winning the final MCAC Tournament and hosting the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round. The Bruins reached the final game in the Opening Round Tournament before falling to Tabor College.
