Bruins stay alive at NSAA Tournament
May 07, 2023After being sent to the loser's bracket following a 9-1 loss to the No. 2 seed Valley City State University, the top-seeded Bellevue University softball squad stayed alive by rebounding with a 6-1 victory over No. 3 Dickinson State University in BU's second contest of the day. Bellevue (41-11) will now play VCSU for the NSAA Tournament title on Monday. The Bruins will need to defeat the Vikings twice to win the championship.

May 04, 2023Senior pitcher/outfielder Lauren Jurek and sophomore first baseman Reese Floro headlined the 2023 All-North Star Athletic Association Softball teams as announced today in conjunction with the 2023 NSAA Softball Championships. Jurek was named the NSAA Pitcher of the Year, while Floro was named the NSAA Player of the Year. Seven Bruins were named to the first team and another four were named to the NSAA Gold Glove Team.
