Todd Eisner was the head coach of the Bellevue men’s basketball team for eight seasons, 2000-08, and remains the holder of the highest winning percentage (225-56, .800) among all coaches in BU Athletics history.

During his time at Bellevue, Eisner turned a moderately successful program into an NAIA Division II juggernaut. His teams reached the NAIA National Tournament in seven of his eight seasons.

Twice (2003-04, 2007-08) during his tenure, Eisner guided the Bruins to the National Championship Game, while those teams currently share the BU basketball record for most wins in a season at 33. His teams made three other appearances in the Sweet Sixteen, including the 2002/03 team, which reached the Elite Eight.

Under his tutelage, six players earned a combined eight All-America selections, while 18 players earned a total of 23 all-MCAC nods.

Eisner himself was named MCAC Coach of the Year a school-record five times. Under his guidance, two Bruins earned MCAC Newcomer of the Year honors and another garnered MCAC Player of the Year accolades.

He currently resides in Winona, Minn., with his wife, Andrea. He is presently the head coach of the Winona State University men’s basketball team, a position he has held since 2015.
