Rachel Muller Turek was one of the most prolific and decorated volleyball players in Bellevue University volleyball history during her four-year career from 2006-09, capped off by being named a third-team NAIA All-American in her senior season as well as the 2009-10 BU Female Athlete of the Year.
Muller Turek led the Bruins to three conference regular-season and three league tournament titles during her four years, helping BU advance to the NAIA National Tournament each of her final three seasons. She guided the Bruins to a program-high No. 4 final national ranking during the 2008 season in which the BU finished with a 32-6 overall record.
During her stellar career, Muller Turek earned first-team all-MCAC honors three times, was a three-time all-Region honoree, was named the 2009 MCAC Player of the Year, garnered three MCAC Scholar-Athlete awards, was a two-time Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, and was the honorary captain of the Omaha World-Herald’s NAIA all-Nebraska team in 2009.
She currently ranks third in school history with 1,563 career kills, sixth in career digs (1,829), and fourth in career points (1,783.5).
