April 24, 2023Bellevue University head volleyball coach Trish Siedlik announced the signing today of 6-1 middle blocker Morgan Wale (Henderson, Nev./Coronado HS) to a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at BU beginning in the fall of 2023. -
BU Volleyball inks Aiwohi twins in 2023 class
February 06, 2023Bellevue University head coach Trish Siedlik announced today the signing of twin sisters 5-0 defensive specialist Lia Aiwohi (Ewa Beach, Hawaii/Farrington HS) and 5-0 setter/defensive specialist Mila Aiwohi (Ewa Beach, Hawaii/Farrington HS) to letters on intent to continue their athletic and academic careers at BU beginning in the fall of 2023.

January 03, 2023Bellevue University head volleyball coach Trish Siedlik announced the addition of two local transfers who will continue their academic and athletic careers at BU beginning in the spring of 2023. The newest Bruins are 5-8 DS/S Jayna Hope (Bellevue, Neb./Cumberland/Bellevue West HS) and 6-0 RS/MB Kealy Kiviniemi (Bellevue, Neb./Washburn/Bellevue West HS).

Bruins sign middle blocker transfer from Arizona Western
December 15, 2022The Bellevue University volleyball program, under the direction of head coach Trish Siedlik announced today the signing of 5-10 middle blocker Kaylani Reis (Salt Lake City, Utah/Arizona Western College/West HS). Reis will begin her academic and athletic careers at BU beginning in the spring of 2023.

December 13, 2022The newest Bruins include 5-8 outside hitter/defensive specialist Ali Butler (Omaha, Neb./Millard HS), 5-9 outside hitter/defensive specialist Rowyn Scheer (Elkhorn, Neb..Elkhorn South HS), 5-8 outside hitter Aspen Meyer (Nebraska City, Neb./Nebraska City Lourdes Central Catholic HS), and 5-9 outside hitter Kylie Wessel (Humphrey, Neb./Humphrey St. Francis HS).

Galas, Athen, Apel named NAIA All-Americans
December 09, 2022Senior setter Olivia Galas (Bellevue, Neb.) earned her fourth-straight first-team All-American nod. Senior outside hitter Sierra Athen (Red Oak, Iowa) garnered her third All-American award after being named to the second team. She was a third-team selection in 2021 and a second-team honoree in 2019. Sophomore middle blocker Jacki Apel (Bellevue, Neb.) earned honorable mention All-American honors.

Four Bruins named AVCA all-Region
December 05, 2022Senior setter Olivia Galas earned her fifth AVCA all-North Central Region honor to lead four Bruins on the select squad announced today. Galas was joined on the all-region first team by senior outside hitter Sierra Athen and sophomore middle blocker Jacki Apel. Senior middle blocker Nicole Meyer earned honorable mention honors.

Eight Bruins named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes
November 29, 2022The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced today that 609 volleyball student-athletes, including Bellevue University's Jacki Apel, Sierra Athen, Haley Fleischman, Eve Fountain, Brooklyn Hundt, Taylan Keefer, Nicole Meyer, and Sidney Sledge have been named 2022 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

November 19, 2022The Bellevue University volleyball team earned its fourth-straight trip to the NAIA National Championship Final Site in Sioux City, Iowa, with a 3-0 (25-23, 26-24, 25-17) sweep over John Brown University Saturday night in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round played at Bellevue West High School.

BU to host John Brown in NAIA Opening Round
November 14, 2022The Bruins return to the National Tournament for the seventh-straight season and the 14th time in the last 16 years. Bellevue (26-7), ranked No. 14 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Poll, earned an at-large bid and will host John Brown University (22-9) on Saturday, Nov. 19, for an opening-round matchup at 5:00 p.m. The match will be played at Bellevue West High School.
