Aaron Havis joins the Bellevue coaching staff ahead of the 2023-24 season.
He brings NAIA experience to the bench having previously worked at Doane University where he was an assistant coach and headed up the junior varsity program for the Tigers during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. With the Tigers, he was involved in recruiting, game prep, on-court coaching, and focused his off-court efforts on team nutrition.
Prior to his time at Doane, Havis was an assistant coach at Presentation College during the summer of 2021. During this time, he focused his efforts on the recruting, the program's social media presence, coordinating the team's workout schedule, and producing the 2021-22 game schedule.
Havis holds a bachelor's of science degree in sports and event management from Presentation while also earning a coaching minor. He was a four-year member of the Saints' basketball program, earning NSAA Scholar-Athlete honors three times and Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors during his senior season.
In addition to his time at Presentation following his graduation, he also coached the Sacred Hoops 17u and 12u boys teams in the summer of 2021.
Havis earned his Master's of Business Administration from Doane University in May of 2023.
