BELLEVUE, Neb. -- The Bellevue University volleyball team is honored to announce that tomorrow's match against Peru State has been designated their Dig Pink Rally Match. The match begins at 7 p.m. and will take place in the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.

"Dig Pink" is an annual fundraiser to help promote breast health and cancer awareness and to raise money to contribute to the research and compassionate support projects Side-Out funds. This event gives the volleyball community the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of all breast cancer patients.

The Bruins have hosted a Dig Pink event for five-straight seasons and this year the team hopes to make a bigger donation to the foundation with everyone's help. We hold a special place in our hearts for Cindy Rueth, mother of assistant coach and former Bruin Caitlyn Rueth, who lost her battle with the disease.

To donate, or to learn more about the fundraiser, please visit the Side-Out Website.

The Bruins have won 10 of their last 12 matches and are now 15-10 (1-0 NSAA) on the season. Peru State is 16-8 overall and 5-1 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
