Bellevue University head volleyball coach Trish Siedlik announced today that 5-7 libero Erin Warren of Papillion, Neb. (Papillion-LaVista South HS) has signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Bellevue University beginning in the fall of 2015.

Warren, the daughter of Mark and Connie Warren, was a two-time team captain for Papillion-Lavista South High School under head coach Elena Pietro. She helped lead the Titans to an appearance in the 2014 Nebraska State Tournament in Class A while leading her team in digs with 578. She was second on her squad with 40 service aces last season.

Warren also lettered in track four times during her high school career.

"Erin is one of the hardest working recruits we have ever seen," said Siedlik. "Her ball control is consistent. Her passing in on point. Erin will bring a world of difference to this team with her ball control alone. We are very anxious to see her perform as a Bruin!"

Warren played club volleyball for Nebraska Juniors under coach Pam Jarrett.

An excellent student, Warren was named to the school's Honor Roll all four years and also earned the Award of Academic Excellence.

Warren joins earlier signees Marylyn Mozena (Weeping Water, Neb./Weeping Water HS) and Shayla Scanlan (Plattsmouth, Neb./Plattsmouth HS) in BU's 2015 recruiting class.

The Bruins finished the 2014 season with a 22-20 record, placing second in the MCAC regular season with a 6-2 league mark.
