Women's Golf adds D-II Transfer Moore for 2017/18

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University women's golf coach Shelly Liddick announced today the signing of Kim Moore to a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Bellevue University beginning in the fall of 2017.

Moore, a native of Scottsbluff, Neb., played her first two collegiate seasons at Denver's Metro State College. She will have two years of eligibility at Bellevue.

  • 2014 Won State Team Championship
  • 2015 Selected for USGA State Team – Wyoming
  • 2016 Rocky Mountain All-Academic
  • 2016 Fort Collins Women's Open Champion
  • 2016 Cheyenne Ladies Tri-State Champion
  • 2016 Top 5 finish in Wyoming Women's State Amateur

Head Coach Shelly Liddick on Moore:

"We are tremendously excited to have Kim joining our women's golf program next fall. She has numerous tournament wins. Her playing experience and leadership will contribute greatly to the continuing legacy of our women's golf program. Kim was an outstanding junior golfer in the state of Nebraska and played on the Nebraska Girls Golf State Championship teams at Scottsbluff High School."

The Bruins won two of four tournaments in the fall and lead the NSAA Championships by 25 strokes after two rounds with the final two rounds slated to be completed in April.
