CHICKASHA, Okla. -- The Bellevue University softball team dropped a pair of games Sunday, ending its trip to Oklahoma with a 9-1 loss to Mount Marty College and a 3-1 defeat to Friends University.
With the two losses, the Bruins fell to 5-3 on the season.
Bellevue returns to action when they head to Clermont, Fla. to compete in the PFX Spring Games on March 3-8.

Mt. Marty outhit the Bruins, 10-6, and took advantage of two BU errors as the Lancers produced a 9-1 victory in six innings in the opener.
Ashlyn Teran led the Bruins offensively, going 2-for-3 with an RBI.
MMC took a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the second, thanks to a two-run single by Melissa Richert, an RBI single by Paige Kramer, and an RBI triple by Makenzi Howard.
The Bruins got a run back in the top of the third on Teran's RBI single to left field that drove in Kayla Lehigh.
The Lancers expanded the lead to 7-1 in the bottom of the fifth on a two-run triple by Rylee Denomy and a sacrifice fly to right field by Kylee Brulotte.
MMC ended the game in the bottom of the sixth, scoring on an RBI double by Howard and a one-run single by Amber Writer.
Monique Ashley (3-2) suffered the loss, scattering seven hits with one walk and six strikeouts in five innings in the circle.
Bianca Minor earned the win, allowing one run on six hits with no walks and four strikeouts in six innings of work.
Friends 3, Bellevue 1
After the Bruins scored an early first-inning run off a Falcon fielding error, Friends scored three runs in the third while holding on for the 3-1 win in the nightcap.
An error by FU right fielder Cassie Jones, allowed Teran to score from third, giving the Bruins' a 1-0 first-inning lead. The Falcons tied the game in the top of the third on an RBI single to center field by Kylie Fox. FU took the lead for good on Kat Davis' two-run homer to center field.
Alicia Dunagan (2-1) earned the win, scattering five hits and one walk with three strikeouts in seven complete innings in the circle.
Brieanna Brook (2-1) took the loss, allowing four hits and three walks with seven strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings of work.
