BELLEVUE, Neb. -- The Bellevue University men's soccer team, under head coach Mark Heath-Preston, announced today the signing of two student-athletes to letters of intent. Toby Millward (Heacham, Norfolk, England) and Yago Ramos (Santa Cecilia, Brazil) will continue their academic and athletic careers at Bellevue beginning in the fall.

Fr. D Toby Millward (Heacham, Norfolk, England)

Millward is the son of John and Carol and is currently a student at Springwood Sixth Form completing his 'A' Levels. Millward has been playing for Swaffham Town FC in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division. He began to learn his trade with King's Lynn Elite at the age of eight and has represented his county (Norfolk).

Coach Heath-Preston said of him, "We are excited to bring in Toby to Bellevue University as he can come in and make an immediate impact. With his playing experience in the U.K. we are excited for him to develop even more within the next four years. We would like to thank Paul Hunt (manager, Swaffham Town) for his involvement on Millward signing.

Jr. D Yago Ramos (Santa Cecilia, Brazil)

Ramos is the son of Emerson Ernani Ramos and Debora Kilpp Ramos and is currently a sophomore at Iowa Lakes Community College in Spencer, Iowa. Ramos was named Second Team All-Region following the 2015 season and Honorable Mention All-Region following the 2016 season. He served as Iowa Lakes' team captain last season while contributing two goals and two assists playing predominantly as a fullback.

Coach Heath-Preston said of him, "Yagos' work ethic and quality on the ball will be a perfect fit for us moving forward. Yago is a well-balanced footballer; as good as he is defensively, he is just as good offensively. We are very excited to see how he develops and the impact he will have on the upcoming season."

Last season the Bruins posted an overall record of 12-6-2 (4-0-0 NSAA) on their way to capturing both the North Star Regular-Season and Tournament Championships. It was the fourth-straight season that BU won a conference tournament championship and third-straight in which they claimed the regular-season title.
