POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- For the second time in his career, Bellevue University goalkeeper Luke Baxter has been this week's Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference's Defensive Player of the Week.
Baxter recorded a season-high eight saves to help the Bruins blank nationally-ranked Hastings College last week.
The Scunthorpe, England native also earned the honor on Oct. 31, 2011.
Bellevue (2-6-1) will host Doane College at 7 p.m. at Tranquility Park on Wed., Sept. 26.
