OMAHA, Neb. -- Playing the final 67 mintues a man down, the Bellevue University men's soccer team (0-2) fell to NCAA Division I University of Nebraska at Omaha (1-0) 4-0 Sunday evening at the UNO Soccer Field.
The Mavericks scored first half goals in the 23rd and and 25th minutes to lift UNO to a 2-0 lead at intermission.
UNO added second half goals at 56:06 and 84:41.
UNO outshot BU 21-1 and held a 14-1 edge in corner kicks.
The Bruins will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 1 when they visit Benedictine College at 7:30 p.m.
