Heath-Preston added to BU coaching staff
Bellevue University men's soccer head coach Matt Briggs announced today the hiring of former BU standout Mark Heath-Preston as an assistant coach for the Bruins beginning immediately. Heath-Preston replaces Daniel Galvis who left to pursue other professional opportunities. 

A two-time honorable mention All-American, Heath-Preston played four seasons for the Bruins from 2006-2010, earning first team all-MCAC honors on three occasions. He was also named the MCAC Offensive Player of the Year twice while guiding the Bruins to three MCAC championships and two berths in the NAIA National Championships. 

Heath-Preston finished his career ranked first in school history in points (105), goals (44), and game-winning goals (15), while ranking second in assists (17) and shots on goal (120).

The Bruins begin the 2012 season on Sept. 1 with a 7:30 p.m. match at Benedictine (Kan.) College.
