Heath-Preston, Narvaez take MCAC weekly honors

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- The Bellevue University men's soccer team swept the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference weekly honors as junior midfielder \#Mark Heath-Preston\# was named the MCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and junior goalkeeper \#Sebastian Narvaez\# nabbed MCAC Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Heath-Preston, a native of Norfolk, England, scored a goal in Bellevue’s 2-1 win over Embry-Riddle University (Ariz.) and added an assist in a 3-1 victory vs. Westminster College last week in Salt Lake City, Utah.

A native of Cali, Columbia, Narvaez recorded nine saves in the Bruins' two victories last week, while improving his record to 4-1 on the season.

The 22nd-ranked Bruins are 4-1 overall this season and will travel to No. 23 Hastings on Wednesday, Sept. 16 for a 7 p.m. non-conference match with the Broncos.
