Josh Meier began his time as a graduate assistant for the men's basketball program in 2019-20.
During his time on the bench Meier has helped the Bruins post back-to-back 20-win seasons and an appearance in the NAIA National Tournament. Additionally, he helped the Bruins claim NSAA titles in both the 2019-20 (regular-season) and 2020-21 (tournament) seasons. Working primarily with BU's post players, Bellevue has enjoyed rebounding advantages of +1.5 (2019-20) and +2.7 (2020-21) and increased their shot blocking from 2.8 per game in his first season to 4.4 this past year.
A two-year member of the Bruin basketball program, he redshirted the 2017-18 season and played during the 2018-19 campaign. Meier averaged 8.9 points on 61 percent shooting from the floor and led the team in rebounding at 5.0 per game last season.
