BELLEVUE, Neb. - Bellevue University senior Percy Lemle (Carson, Calif.) has been named Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week as announced by the conference. It is the first such honor for Lemle who has established himself as a valuable contributor off the bench for the Bruins.

In the Bruins' lone game last week, Lemle narrowly missed a double-double, finishing with 19 points and nine assists to go along with five rebounds in a 68-64 victory at Dakota State. Lemle has now scored in double figures in seven straight games, averaging 15.7 points per game during that span.

The 6-3 combo guard is averaging 13.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. He ranks second on the team in both scoring and assists. He is fifth on the squad in rebounding and his nine steals lead the team.

Bellevue is 8-2 on the year and will host the University of Nebraska at Kearney (4-1) on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.
