The Bellevue University men's basketball team earned the No. 4 seed in the 2010 NAIA Men's Basketball Division II National Championship, which will be held on Mar. 10-16 in Point Lookout, Mo. on the campus of College of the Ozarks.
The Bruins (25-7), who earned an automatic berth into the tournament after winning the MCAC Tournament last Saturday, will face William Jessup University in the first round at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 11.
Bellevue will be making its 11th overall and eighth-straight appearance in the NAIA National Championship. The Bruins finished second in 2004 and 2008. Head coach \#Shane Paben\#, in his first Bruin season, guided Bellevue to a quarterfinal appearance in 2009.
In addition to the 2010 MCAC Tournament title, the Bruins also won the MCAC regular season crown with an 11-1 mark.
Bellevue owns a 14-10 all-time record at the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship.
