BELLEVUE, Neb. -- For the second-straight night, senior \#Jace Fredenburg\# scored a career-high, this time with 27 points, as the sixth-ranked Bellevue University men's basketball team ended the regular season with a 105-69 victory over Central Christian College Saturday night at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center. 

Bellevue improved to 23-7 on the season and finished league play with an 11-1 mark. The Bruins will host the 2010 MCAC Tournament next Friday and Saturday, Feb. 26-27. Game times and pairings will be announced on Monday.

Central Christian fell to 21-9 on the season and 6-6 in the MCAC.

Fredenburg, who scored 23 points on Friday night in the Bruins' win over Haskell, was 9-of-11 from the field, including 6-of-8 from behind the 3-point arc. Freshman \#Carlos Perez\# tied a career-high with 15 points in just 13 minutes of action. Senior \#Ron King\# also added 15 points, while \#Avery Tyler\# and \#Jelani Johnson\# contributed with 10 points apiece.

The Tigers' Sean High led all scorers with 29 points, but was just 7-of-29 from the field.

Paced by Fredenburg's 16 points, the Bruins shot 63 percent in the first half, building a 51-35 halftime advantage. King added 11 points in the opening period. High led CCC with 18 points before the intermission.

After two free throws by High gave the Tigers their first lead of the game at 9-8, the Bruins went on a 7-0 run over a two-minute span, taking a 16-9 lead with 15:23 remaining in the half.

A 3-pointer by Fredenburg gave Bellevue it's largest first-half lead at 39-22 with 6:42 left. A 3-pointer by High pulled the Tigers to within 10 at 45-35 before BU went on a 6-0 run to close the half.

The Bruins opened the second half on a 19-4 run to take a commanding 70-39 lead at the 14:30 mark.

A long jumper by senior \#Richard Marion\# gave the Bruins their largest advantage at 99-55 with just under four minutes left in the game as Bellevue cruised to the 105-69 win. The 105 points was the second-highest total for the Bruins this season. Bellevue defeated Alice Lloyd College 111- 65 on Jan. 4.
