Prochaska named 3rd team All-American
POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. --  Senior forward Kyle Prochaska (Wahoo, Neb.) earned third team NAIA All-American honors in an announcement made today following the NAIA National Championship.

Prochaska led the 2008-09 Bruins with 14.1 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. A first team all-MCAC selection, Prochaska guided Bellevue to a 24-9 overall record and an 8-4 conference mark.

In the final conference statistics,  Prochaska led the MCAC in field goal percentage (.587) and rebounds (10.7 rpg) and was second in double-doubles (17).

After helping the Bruins to an appearance in the NAIA National Championship quarterfinals, Prochaska earned all-tournament team honors.

Prochaska was selected captain of the Omaha World-Herald's all-Nebraska NAIA team, which was voted on by NAIA coaches thoughout the state.
