BISMARCK, N.D. -- For the second-straight week, and sixth time this season, Bellevue University sophomore Madison Nelson (Plattsmouth, Neb.) has earned North Star Athletic Association Cross Country Women's Runner of the Week honors.
Nelson ran a time of 18:29.8 en route to a fourth place finish at the Mount Marty Invitational, held at Yankton's Fox Run Golf Course. In doing so, she bettered her own PR and improved the program record time in the 5K.
With the regular-season in the rearview, Bellevue is making preparations for the 2022 NSAA Championships to be held in Dickinson, N.D. next Friday, Nov. 4.
