Madison Nelson earned her third NSAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honor.

MADISON, S.D. -- For the third time this season, sophomore Madison Nelson has been honored as the North Star Athletic Association Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for her performance at last week's Wayne State Wildcat Classic.
Nelson broke up a string of twelve Augustana (SD) runners (currently ranked No. 3 in NCAA Division II) to place fifth at the Wildcat Classic. Her time of 19:11 was a Bellevue University best time on the course and the second fastest 5K overall in school history.
The Bruins return to racing this weekend when they travel to the Briar Cliff Invite on Saturday (Oct. 1). The meet will be held at the Adams Nature Preserve in North Sioux City, S.D. The women race at 10:30, and the men will follow at 11:15 a.m.
