BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Junior outside hitter Eve Fountain recorded a double-double to lead the 14th-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-6, 25-27, 25-17, 25-16) victory over (RV) Benedictine (Kan.) College Friday night in the Bruins' first match of the GoSarpy.com Classic at the Lied Activity Center. 

With the win, Bellevue improved to 3-1 on the season. Benedictine fell to 3-1 overall. 

Fountain finished with 19 kills on .514 hitting while adding 16 digs, and three blocks. Kealy Kiviniemi produced 10 kills and a match-high six blocks. Kenzie Polk collected a career-high nine kills in the victory. Haley Fleischman hit .556, pounding six kills while adding five blocks. 

Mila Aiwohi and Victoria Runyan combined for 46 assists while directing the BU offense to an efficient .305 hitting percentage. Aiwohi added 10 digs for her second double-double of the season. 

BU out-blocked the Ravens 12-2 while limiting BC to .057 hitting. 

Hokulani Sagapolu (11) and Regan Bruggeman (10) combined for 21 kills to pace the Raven attack.  

The Bruins conclude the tournament on Saturday (Aug. 24) with a 2 p.m. match against Lindsey Wilson College and a 4:30 p.m. contest versus No. 13-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
