Honors and Awards

2022 Season (Junior): Earned second-team all-NSAA honors ... Finished third on the team with 293 kills and 65 total blocks ... Fourth on the squad with 25 service aces and fifth with 307 digs ... Recorded 11 matches with double-figure kill totals ... Registered six double-doubles on the season ... Pounded a season-high 19 kills along with eight digs in BU's 3-0 sweep over Dakota State on Oct. 19. 

At Missouri Western: Earned second-team all-MIAA honors in 2021 and honorable mention all-conference accolades in 2019 ... Was second on the team in 2021 with 270 kills and 297.5 points, and third with 42 total blocks ... During her freshman campaign, she totaled 249 kills, a .207 hitting percentage, 68 total blocks, and 155 digs.

High School: Played for coach Lindsay Peterson at Millard North High School ... Recorded 243 kills, 135 digs, 67 blocks, and 30 aces in her senior season while helping the Mustangs win the 2018 Nebraska Class A State Tournament title ... Earned all-Metro Conference and honorable mention all-state honors ... Selected to compete in the Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star Match ... Three-year letterwinner in track.  

Personal: Daughter of Jeffrey and Rochelle Kerns ... Has a younger sister, Claire ... Born on July 30, 2001 ... Majoring in Special Education ... Mother Rochelle played basketball at Wayne State ... Father Jeffrey competed in football, soccer, and track at Midland.
