BELLEVUE, Neb. - Bellevue junior Beth Walker (Dubuque, Iowa) has been named Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Setter of the Week as announced by the conference. The honor is third week in a row for Walker and the 12th time in her career that she's been recognized for a weekly conference award.

Walker recorded her team-leading 16th and 17th double-doubles of the year. The team's setter, Walker led BU in kills with 13 in the Bruins' 3-1 win over College of the Ozarks. She narrowly missed recording a triple-double, finishing with 13 kills, 35 assists, and nine digs against the Bobcats.

The MCAC-leading Bruins also followed up their victory against Ozarks by dropping Central Baptist College 3-0 on Saturday afternoon. Walker totaled 42 assists and 15 digs to lead the attack.

The Bruins (18-16, 4-0 MCAC) return to the court on Tuesday when they Travel to York College for a 7:00 p.m. match with the Panthers.
