Broady garners eighth MCAC Setter of the Week nod

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- For the eighth time this season, senior Jordan Broady has been named the MCAC Setter of the Week for her performances in the Bruins' three conference sweeps during the week ending Nov. 4. 

Broady, a native of Johnson, Neb., averaged 14.13 assists, 2.38 digs, 1.50 kills, 0.63 service aces and 0.50 total blocks per game last week as the 24th-ranked Bruins picked up three victories, clinching the MCAC regular season championship. In a 3-0 win over Waldorf College, she had 39 assists, seven digs, five kills, four service aces and two block assists. Broady also led the Bruins to three-game wins over York College and College of St. Mary. 

The honor marked the 28th time in her Bruin career that Broady has won the MCAC Setter of the Week award.

Bellevue is 32-9 this season (13-0 MCAC). The Bruins have won nine-straight matches and will host the six-team MCAC Tournament this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9-10 in the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.
