FREMONT, Neb. -- Despite Jordan Broady's third triple-double of the season, the 19th-ranked Bellevue University volleyball team dropped a five-set match at Midland University, 22-25, 25-20, 18-25, 25-23, 15-10 Wednesday night.
The loss dropped the Bruins to 2-3 overall while Midland improved to 3-2.
Broady recorded 31 assists, 12 kills and 10 digs for her third-straight triple-double.
Symone Faulkner was the only other player in double-figure kills, finishing with 10.
Meghan Evans anchored the defense with a team-high 21 digs while Beth Walker added 13.
The Bruins hit .146 for the match and were plagued by 26 hitting errors.
BU will host its annual Labor Day Classic Friday-Saturday, Aug. 31-Sept. 1 at the Lied Activity Center.
