Broady named Setter of the Week for fifth time

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- For the fifth straight week, Bellevue University junior setter Jordan Broady has been named this week's Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference's Setter of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday, Oct. 3.

Broady notched 36 assists, nine digs and one service ace in BU's 3-0 sweep at York College last week.

For the season, she leads the conference with 819 assists. Broady also has a team-high eight double-doubles.

The 15th-ranked Bruins are 16-4 and 5-0 in the MCAC. BU will host College of Saint Mary tonight (Oct. 4) at 7:30 p.m. Prior to the match, alumni from both schools will play an exhibition match beginning at 6:00 p.m.
