Broady, Wardian earn honorable mention All-American honors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Sophomore setter Jordan Broady and junior middle blocker Maureen Wardian both earned honorable mention NAIA All-American honors in an announcement made today by the NAIA Volleyball All-America Selection committee.

Broady, a two-time first team all-MCAC selection, led the Bruins with 14 double-doubles and was named the MCAC Setter of the Week on six occasions. She directed the BU offense with 1,589 assists and was third on the team with 361 digs.

Wardian, who also earned honorable mention NAIA All-American honors last season, led the Bruins with a .331 attack percentage and 1.09 blocks per game. She was second on the team with 432 kills. Wardian is a three-time first team all-MCAC honoree.

The Bruins finished the 2010 season with a 34-14 overall record, advancing to the NAIA National Tournament for the fourth-consecutive season after capturing the MCAC Tournament title. Bellevue finished as MCAC regular-season co-champions with College of the Ozarks after posting a 15-1 league mark.

Note: Both Broady and Wardian were also named to the AVCA all-West Central Region first team and were also named honorable mention AVCA All-Americans.

Junior rightside hitter Kali Schnacker earned honorable mention AVCA all-Region accolades.
