Broady, Schnacker earn weekly honors
Sophomore setter Jordan Broady and junior rightside hitter Kali Schnacker were both honored by the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference for their performances last week at the Bruin/Premier Classic.

Broady was named the MCAC Setter of the Week after averaging 10.67 assists and 2.33 digs per game as the Bruins posted a 2-2 record. In a 3-1 loss to Lindenwood University, she had 44 assists, 11 digs and seven kills. In Bellevue's five-set loss to fifth-ranked Northwestern, Broady recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 47 assists and 10 digs. It marked the third time this season, Broady has earned the honor.

Schnacker earned her second MCAC Hitter of the Week nod after averaging 3.14 kills, 0.93 digs and 0.57 blocks per game over four matches last week. In a 3-2 loss to Northwestern, she had 16 kills, five digs and four block assists. Schnacker leads the 2010 Bruins with 184 kills.

The 18th-ranked Bruins are 17-5 overall and 5-0 in the MCAC. Bellevue will travel to Point Lookout, Mo. this Friday, Oct. 1 for a 7 p.m. match a College of the Ozarks. The Bobcats have an identical 17-5, 5-0 record this season.
