Muller, Wardian net All-American honors
SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- Senior outside hitter \#Rachel Muller\# topped off her storied four-year Bruin career by being named a third team NAIA All-American in an announcement made today in conjunction with the NAIA Volleyball National Championship. Sophomore middle blocker \#Maureen Wardian\# garnered honorable mention honors.

The duo helped guide the 2009 Bruins to a 29-10 overall record, a 14-0 conference mark, and the program's third-consecutive appearance at the NAIA Volleyball National Championship.

Muller led Bellevue with 453 kills and was second with 452 digs. She also had a team-leading 23 double-doubles on the season. Muller finished her Bellevue career ranked highly in several statistical categories, including second in career kills (1,563), third in career digs (1,829), and fourth in career points (1783.5).

The 2009 MCAC Player of the Year, Muller was a three-time first team all-MCAC selection and was named to numerous all-tournament teams.

Wardian paced the 2009 Bruins with a .311 attack percentage and 154 total blocks. She is also a two-time first team all-MCAC honoree and was the 2008 MCAC Newcomer of the Year.

Notes: Both Muller and Wardian were named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association all-West Central Region team. The two are now eligible for AVCA All-American accolades. Freshman setter \#Jordan Broady\# earned honorable mention all-Region honors.
