Bruin volleyball sweeps MCAC weekly honors
POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. - The Bellevue University volleyball team swept the weekly MCAC awards for the week ending Nov. 8, with \#Rachel Muller\# earning MCAC Hitter of the Week honors, \#Jordan Broady\# claiming MCAC Setter of Week accolades, and \#Katy Gregory\# gaining MCAC Libero of the Week recognition.

A native of Omaha, Neb., Muller averaged 4.44 kills, 4.33 digs and 0.67 total blocks per game last week as the Bruins captured the MCAC regular season championship with three sweeps of conference opponents.  Against the College of Saint Mary, she had 16 kills, 10 digs and four total blocks in the victory.

Broady (Johnson, Neb.) averaged 13.71 assists, 3.29 digs and 1.14 kills per game last week over the three Bellevue victories. In a 3-0 sweep of the College of the Ozarks, she had 49 assists and 12 digs.

A native of Bellevue, Neb., Gregory averaged 5.22 digs per game last week in helping the Bruins to the three sweeps of conference opponents. She collected 22 digs in the win over second-place College of the Ozarks.

The 14th-ranked Bruins are 27-6 overall on the season and finished the MCAC with a perfect 14-0 record. Bellevue will host the 2009 MCAC Volleyball Tournament this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13-14 at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.
