Billings signs with BU Women's Soccer

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University head women's soccer coach Tom White has announced the signing of Jaycee Billings (Papillion, Nebraska) to a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at BU beginning next fall.

Billings is the daughter of Cory and Becky Billings. She is currently a senior at Gross Catholic High school under the guidance of Jim Holman. Jaycee to date has scored 11 goals and has three assists throughout her high school career.

Moreover, Billings plays her club soccer at Bellevue Soccer Club for team sporting under current Bellevue University Men's Soccer coach Mark Heath-Preston.

Club Coach Mark Heath-Preston on Billings:

"I'm really proud of Jaycee and the hard work she has put in since coaching her. I have no doubt she will make an immediate impact on and off the field at Bellevue."

Head Coach Tom White on Billings:

"It's great to bring in more local talent – I have had the opportunity to see Jaycee grow through the last three of four years under Mark. She is a clever player who loves the game. She has an infectious character and is someone who will do whatever so the team can succeed."

Billings joins earlier signees Emma Stock (Bellevue, Neb./Papillion-La Vista South HS) and Sinai Bernal (Bennington, Neb./Elkhorn HS) in the Bruins' 2020 recruiting class.

Bellevue finished the 2019 season at 6-6-3 and qualified for the A.I.I. Tournament in Lawrenceville, Ga.
