BARTLESVILLE, Okla. -- Oklahoma Wesleyan University defeated the Bellevue University women's soccer team 3-0 Saturday afternoon in Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference action.

Oklahoma Wesleyan improved to 7-3-1 overall and 2-0-0 in league action while Bellevue dropped to 4-6-3 and 1-1-0 in the MCAC.

Amber Brown-Longoria scored a pair of first half goals in the 4th and 10th minute of action to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Elisa Brito scored with just four seconds remaining to give OWU the 3-0 win. Brito ranks second in the conference with 11 goals scored this season.  

Lisa Aman earned her sixth win of the season for the Eagles, stopping all five BU shots on goal. Caitlin Stier (3-5-3) recorded two saves in goal for the Bruins.

The Eagles outshot BU 12-11 and also held a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.

Kate Petersen led BU with three shots while Brito tallied a match-game five for OWU.

The Bruins will play host to Central Christian College on Saturday, Oct. 19 in MCAC action. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Tranquility Park.
