Marsh signs Andersson as first recruit for 2024-25

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University head women's golf coach Craig Marsh announced today his first signee for the 2024-25 season with the addition of Tilde-Li Andersson of Gävle, Sweden. She will begin her academic and athletic careers at BU beginning in the fall of 2024.

Andersson, the daughter of Jennie Sandberg and Mikael Andersson, attended Borgarskolan High School and was coached by Kasper Hedblom. She plans on majoring in Business Management and Leadership at BU.

An outstanding role model for youth golfers in her region, Andersson captured one title as a junior in the second division, recording a 3-over par 75 for her lowest round.

"We are very excited to add Tilde-Li Andersson to our women's golf roster for the fall of 2024," said Marsh. "Tilde-Li brings an inspiring passion for the game and dedication to excellence. She is a strong competitor who will add depth and talent to our team. Above all, Tilde-Li is a team player, committed to doing whatever it takes to achieve team success."

With an average score of 83, Andersson holds a handicap of 5.0.

The Bruins return to action on Monday-Tuesday, April 15-16, when they travel across the river to Council Bluffs, Iowa, to compete in the Bent Tree Intercollegiate at Bent Tree Golf Club. The tournament will be hosted by Iowa Western Community College.
