MADISON, S.D. -- Bellevue University's Allison Temple has been named the North Star Athletic Association's Women's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the NSAA office on Wednesday.
Temple, Bellevue's top finisher at the Sydney Cox Invitational earlier this week, placed seventh with a 54-hole total of 224, good for 8-over. Over the weekend Temple recorded a 16-over performance, good for fifth place, at the Nebraska Intercollegiate.
For the season, she has been Bellevue's top golfer averaging 76.7 strokes per round with three top 10 finishes within the four tournaments in which BU has participate.
The Golfer of the Week honor is the sixth time the award has been bestowed upon Temple during her Bruin career.
With the fall season concluded, Bellevue resumes play in March.
