NORFOLK, Neb. -- Senior Allison Temple fired a 6-over 78 to lead the Bellevue University women's golf team Saturday in the second day of competition at the Nebraska Intercollegiate played at the 5,961-yard, par-72 Norfolk Country Club.
Three BU women's competed in the 36-hole event as BU did not record a team score.
Temple finished fifth in the 20-player event with a two-round total of 160 (82-78). She had one birdie and 10 pars in Saturday's second round.
Megan Harty was just behind Temple at 17-over par after firing a 7-over 79 combined with Friday's 10-over 82. Harty recorded one birdie and 11 pars on the day.
Tylah Saifoloi placed eighth in the event at 18-over par. She matched Friday's opening round score with an identical 9-over 81 on Saturday. She registered one birdie and nine pars in the second round.
The Bruins will compete in the Sydney Cox Invitational on Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 11-12, in Oklahoma City, Okla.
