MADISON, S.D. -- For the second time this season, senior Dominika Gradecka has been recognized as the North Star Athletic Association's Women's Golfer of the Week for her outstanding performance at the Sydney Cox Invitational in Oklahoma City.
Gradecka captured the individual title at the prestigious nine-team Sydney Cox Invitational, finishing the tournament at 2-under par with rounds of 68 and 72. Her round of 68 was the lowest 18-hole total in school history and her 2-under total of 140 was also a school record for a 36-hole event. For the tournament, she finished with six birdies. She helped lead the Bruins to a third-place finish in the nine-team event.
Gradecka currently leads the Bruins with a 72-strokes-per-round average on the season.
The Bruins will conclude the fall portion of the 2020-21 season next Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 19-20, when they travel to Ankeny, Iowa for the Grand View Invitational.
