MADISON, S.D. -- For the second time this season, sophomore Faustina Peve has earned North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Women's Golfer of the Week honors for her performance at the Bellevue University Fall Invite earlier this week.
Peve tied for fourth-place in the rain-shortened BU Fall Invite, finishing at 2-over par for the tournament with an opening round 74 on the 5,809-yard par-72 Pines Country Club in Valley, Neb. Tuesday's final round was cancelled due to unplayable course conditions.
Peve helped guide the Bruins to a second-place finish in the tournament, just one-stroke back from tournament champion Morningside.
The Bruins will travel to Oklahoma City on Oct. 16-17 for the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic, hosted by Oklahoma City University.
