Liddick adds Burke's Schneider to 2017-18 signing class

Bruin women's golf coach Shelly Liddick announced today the signing of Shelby Schneider to a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Bellevue University beginning in the fall of 2017. 

Schneider joins earlier signees Allison Temple (Norfolk, Neb./Norfolk HS) and Kim Moore (Scottsbluff, Neb./Metropolitan State/Scottsbluff HS) in the 2017-18 recruiting class. 

A native of Bennington, Neb., Schneider will graduate from Omaha Burke High School this spring before joining the Bruins in the fall. 

Highlights:

  • Two-time all-conference
  • 8th Place finish at Class A-3 Distrticts
  • Two-time Class A state tournament qualifier
  • Top player in Nebraska Class A girls golf
  • 8 top ten finishes
  • 3 runner-up finishes

These character skills provide Shelby unlimited possibilities for her success as a student-athlete. She has natural leadership skills that will contribute greatly and ensure the continued success of our women's golf program. We are very excited to have Shelby join our Bruin family this fall."

The 2016-17 Bruins will next be in action at the UNK Invite in Kearney, Neb. on March 25-26.
