Wendy Monfort earned NSAA Golfer of the Week honors for the third time in her career.

MADISON, S.D. - For the third time in her career, sophomore Wendy Monfort has been named the NSAA Golfer of the Week for her performances last week at the Concordia-St. Paul Golden Bear Classic.
Monfort captured the individual title in the NCAA Division II-dominated tournament and helped lead the Bruins to the team championship as well. Bellevue was the lone NAIA school in the eight-team field.
Monfort finished 11-over-par for the tournament, firing rounds of 79 and 75. She and teammate Hannah Maschong were both named to the all-tournament team.
Bellevue will participate in the North Star Athletic Association Fall Tournament on Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 26-27 in Albert Lea, Minn.
