Trio named Daktronics-NAIA Women's Golf Scholar-Athletes

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Thursday that 129 women's golf student-athletes have been named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. 

Bellevue University's Jayme Harmelink, Renee Santoyo and Karissa Moreland were all named to the prestigious team. 

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.

Harmelink is a senior majoring in health and human services. Moreland and Santoyo are both juniors majoring in business administration.
