Play suspended at South Central Spring Invite
WINFIELD, Kan. -- Due to heavy rain and lightning, the Bellevue University women's golf team got had play suspended Monday at the South Central Spring Invitational hosted by Southwestern (Kan.) College.

After a four-hour rain delay, the players were called off the course after completing one to two holes.

Originally scheduled for 36 holes, the tournament, being played at the Quail Ridge Golf Course, will be shortened to 18 holes and play will begin Tuesday (March 20) morning at 9 a.m.
