Jillian Flores

Jillian Flores was hired as the Bruins' women's basketball assistant coach prior to the program's inaugural 2016-17 season. She will enter her second season on the staff in 2017-18. 

Coach Flores began her coaching career in 2014 at Peru State where she worked for the past two seasons. At Peru she was responsible for team scouting, film breakdown and exchange, and coordinating travel arrangements.

Flores assisted in program building with daily planning, coaching, and recruiting while also assisting in the day-to-day preparation for practices and competition. She would assist in fundraising for the program and paperwork regarding scholarships and academic success. Additionally, she communicated with professors and community members as needed to the success of student-athletes.

In addition to basketball, Flores has professional experience as a hall director (at Peru State), legal assistant, support coordinator, and community support specialist.

She gained playing experience from both Iowa Western (NJCAA) and Benedictine (NAIA Division I).

Flores earned an Associate's Degree from Iowa Western Community College in 2009 before going on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology/Criminology from Benedictine College in 2011. She completed her Master's Degree in Organizational Management from Chadron State College in 2016.
