Ross cited by NSAA as Player of the Week

MADISON, S.D. -- Bellevue University junior Faith Ross (Gretna, Neb.) has been recognized as the North Star Athletic Association Women's Basketball Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Ross averaged 16 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last week as the Bruins split a pair of games.

In a 77-54 win over Kansas Wesleyan she scored 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting, including making two of her five attempts from deep. Additionally, he pulled down three rebounds and dished out three assists.

She followed up with 22 points on 9-of-18 shooting and nine rebounds in BU's 77-69 loss to Midland on Saturday.

The award is the second of Ross' career, after having previously earned the honor on Dec. 16, 2018 .For the season, Ross is averaging 13.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game on 44.7 percent shooting.

Bellevue hosts College of St. Mary tonight at 6 p.m. in the final game of the BU Classic.
