Chelsey White returns for her second season on
the Bellevue coaching staff after a standout career as a Bruin. She
will assist in pitcher development along with other day-to-day
duties.
White played four seasons at Bellevue University and developed into one of the more dominate pitchers in the conference. Her knowledge of the game will be beneficial for the Bruins as they look to make a fourth appearance at nationals.
As a four-year letter winner for the Bruins, White appeared in 116 games, posting a record of 51-30 in 559 innings. She is sixth all-time in school history with an earned run average of 2.18, fourth with 4.30 strikeouts per seven innings and fourth with 51 career victories. In 2005, White appeared in 41 games, making the top-20 for most single-season appearances in the NAIA. As a pitcher for the Bruins, she recorded 343 strikeouts and earned post-season all-conference, all-region and national recognition as an academic All-American.
White currently lives in Omaha and works for a family centered agency that promotes family reunification.
