BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Due to the cold weather forecasted for this Sunday, the Bellevue University softball team has altered its weekend home series with Valley City State University. The four-game series was originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 16-17. The games will now be played on Friday and Saturday, March 15-16.
Friday's doubleheader will begin at 2 p.m. at Roy Smith Field in Omaha. Saturday's twin bill will begin at noon.
The series will mark the beginning of North Star Athletic Association play for both teams. Bellevue is currently 9-12 on the season. VCSU enters this weekend's series with an 8-12 overall mark.
