MADISON, S.D. -- Freshman Savannah Gunn was named the North Star Athletic Association's Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March. 7.
Gunn improved to 2-2 on the season, recording a complete-game four-hit shutout in Bellevue's 2-0 victory over the University of Northwestern Ohio last Sunday. She allowed just four hits while walking two and striking out two in seven innings of work.
Gunn currently ranks second on the BU squad with a 2.47 ERA and 29 strikeouts.
The Bruins are currently competing at the Spring Games in Kissimmee, Fla. BU will play 10 total games during their annual trip to Florida.
