Bridgeford earns 2nd-straight MCAC POW honor
POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- For the second-straight week, freshman out fielder Kelsie Bridgeford has been named the MCAC Player of the Week for her performances in the Bruins three conference sweeps last week. 

Bridgeford batted .583 on the week with two doubles, two triples, one home run and seven RBIs. She also amassed a 1.333 slugging percentage as the Bruins went 6-0 on the week with sweeps over York College, College of St. Mary, and Haskell Inidan Nations University. 

Currently riding a nine-game hitting streak, Bridgeford led the MCAC with a .600 batting average in league games.  She also collected seven doubles, two triples, and four home runs in conference contests. 

The Bruins are currently riding a 15-game winning streak, finishing the regular season with a 42-14 overall record and a 13-1 mark in conference play. Bellevue shared a piece of the MCAC regular season crown with fourth-ranked Central Baptist College. 

Central Baptist will host the four-team MCAC Tournament this Thursday-Friday, May 3-4. Times and pairings have not been announced.
